MOVED2CARE Competition Honourable mention

Xpand is formed by combining versatility of a hovercraft over swamp and river area with medical tent design. This allows Xpand to provide medical support to rural South East Asia settlements which are not accessible by land vehicle due to dense forest and harsh terrain.
Light-weight structure and material are incorporated into Xpand for ease of transportation. It can be assembled with minimal human workforce in a short period of time. White-color external membrane provides optimal natural illuminance for internal spaces, while flooring is made of bamboo to convey the spirit of place. In addition, external membrane can be used as projector screen to conduct presentation to educate the rural community about health tips.

The project team comprises of:

Lance Lim Cheng Hong & Yoong Chern Li from TF101, Malaysia.
