Skate School, Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Built 2017

Built in partnership with Skateistan, a new Skate School was funded by The Skateroom with design and build support from Building Trust Cambodia and COLE + Partners.
The facility consists of a skatepark, classroom, library, office and large green space. It was designed with input from local Skateistan staff and the skate community. It is the perfect new space for Skateistan to run their programs. The skatepark is the first of its kind in Cambodia and when not in use by Skateistan students, is open for the public to enjoy.

At the skate school opening in February 2018, a 9-year-old Sky Brown took part in a pro skate demo (Sky has since won 2 olympic medals in skateboarding.)
